The lane is clear. I do not diagnose. I do not treat. I do not freelance.
I started in direct support and social work, so I know the fear and the gravity of referring someone out, or handing over part of a person’s care. I have been in the helping fields for nearly two decades, and there is nothing worse than a failed referral source, except one that goes rogue. I can assure you the backbone of what I do is collaborative care that works in both directions, for the physicians, therapists, midwives, lactation consultants, and social workers already in the picture.
What you can expect.
Your referral is received, respected, and communicated back. I am grounded, trauma informed, and reality based, and your client will not leave a session with a list of contradicting advice. When something surfaces that belongs in your office, it goes back to you. Clients do not leave without a next step, and you do not lose the thread.
Common referrals in.
From physicians, NPs, midwives, and lactation consultants: infants with latch and feeding trouble, tie revision support, structural strain, unsettled babies.
From mental health therapists: clients whose bodies are holding what the sessions have surfaced.
From chiropractors and dentists: pre and post revision craniosacral work and soft tissue support.
When care moves between offices.
Releases and hand offs are handled directly, promptly, and in a way that honors the client’s dignity. The network across Hamilton County and greater Indianapolis is established. The communication is reliable.
